Blackfriars Bridge and Bankside. George Davison Reid photographed this riverside scene that includes Blackfriars Bridge and the old Bankside Power Station. A power station built by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott replaced this one in 1941. At the end of the 20th century, the disused site became home to the Tate Modern art gallery.
