Garam Masala 

Mamma Spice's most-used blend, and a multiple award-winner too! No chilli in this one, just a perfectly balanced mix of cumin, coriander, ginger and cinnamon, with a little earthy clove and star anise for aroma. Mix a small pinch into your curries before serving for an added dose of flavour. 

Sri Lankan Curry Powder 

An aromatic curry powder pepped with curry leaves, black pepper, red chilli, mustard seeds and fenugreek – warming and tingly rather than hot, perfect for coconut-based curries.

Harissa 

A fiery North African spice blend to delight anyone who loves chilli. Ours is a hot chilli, joined by a little cumin, caraway, garlic and coriander, perfect for sprinkling over eggs, pepping up soups and tagines, or mixing with butter to melt over grilled lamb or steak.

Tex-Mex 

A rounded, warming classic Tex-Mex seasoning for making family favourites such as chilli, fajitas and enchiladas! 

Jerk 

The classic Jamaican rub – warming, earthy, peppery – used to season meats before long, slow barbecue cooking. Although authentic jerk means to barbecue, this blend makes deliciously aromatic soups and braises too. 

Chinese 7 Spice 

Perhaps the most fragrant of blends, thanks to star anise, ginger and fennel seeds. Classically used for Chinese style roast meats or meaty slow braises – adding a pinch to spice up your roast pork is a real treat! 

Ras El Hanout 

Translating as 'head of the shop', every spice shop in North Africa has its own Ras el Hanout – vibrant, aromatic and harmonious, a very versatile blend for seasoning tagines, stews and meats for slow cooking. 

Tandoori Masala

The classic blend for Indian grills, perfect for marinating paneer, chops, chicken and veggies – and can also be used in curries. A little spicy, a little sweet, savoury, garlicky, peppery...and completely addictive! Ours gets its vibrant glow from natural beetroot powder. 

Za’atar 

A toasty, savoury mix of sesame and thyme, pepped with the earthy- sour tang of sumac. Traditionally sprinkled over hummus and flatbreads, but makes a perfect blend to season a roast chicken.
