Suffragette procession of Journalists. The Pageant of Women's Trades and Professions was held in the Albert Hall in April 1909 and brought together members of the suffrage movement. These journalists took part in the procession, which preceded the pageant from Eaton Square to the Albert Hall. The women's illustrated banners documented their cause and their campaign. The journalists' included a carrier pigeon with a quill pen to symbolise their profession.
