These A6 notebooks are bound with sustainably sourced mulberry bark paper – an eco-friendly material that regenerates naturally. After harvesting the mulberry bush regrows within 3–5 years, making this paper a great renewable resource.
The production process is both simple and skilful – the bark is peeled, beaten, and cooked until smooth, then transformed into a fine pulp. This is carefully spread into water, screened, and left to dry in the sun, resulting in a beautifully textured, durable paper that forms the covers of these notebooks, which are decorated with a distinctive fish motif, adding a unique artistic touch.
