Trafalgar Square 20th century

£25.00
Trafalgar Square. Looking south, George Davison Reid photographed Trafalgar Square and the crowds of people drawn towards it. During the late 1920s and early 30s, Trafalgar Square was the site of numerous demonstrations and gatherings. Meetings of the National Unemployed Workers Committee Movement included the Great National Hunger Marches. The Miners' March on 20 November 1927 saw hundreds of miners from South Wales gather in the square.
