The London River front from Westminster to the Adelphi. Oil on canvas. Riverfront view from the present Waterloo Bridge site, showing left to right: part of Westminster Bridge, Westminster Hall, Westminster Abbey, Whitehall waterfront, Banqueting House, cupola of Horse Guards, tower and chimneys of York Buildings Waterworks Co., Salt Office, house at the south east corner of Buckingham Street and principally the Adelphi. The Royal Terrace is shown completed as well as Adam Street. Heaps of stone, piled stacks of timber and jetty for rubbish disposal are also shown in the painting.
