Claudia Jones, editor of the West Indian Gazette, is addressing the crowds at this Trafalgar Square rally. Organised by the Movement for Colonial Freedom, workers and students in Britain from across the Commonwealth marched through the West End to condemn the Government's Colour Bar Immigration Bill. Also present to speak to those gathered were Dr. Orbach, John Stonehouse MP, Laurence Parvitt MP, Mr. Pitt, Mr. Qureshi, secretary of the Pakistani Welfare Association, and Ratta Singh, president of the Indian Workers Association.
