Bird's Eye view of the London Grand Junction Railway from Skinner Street to Camden Town. This print shows a proposed new railway line, conceived by George Remington, Jr, that was to run from Camden Town to a site near Newgate in the City of London. It was never constructed and may have fallen foul of the 1846 government edict forbidding new railway lines within the city centre. The print shows how the railway was to run along a raised viaduct, slicing through the existing urban landscape.
