Bikers outside the Ace Café North Circular Road 1963

£25.00
The Ace Café on the North Circular Road was one of the most popular haunts for the 'Ton-Up boys'. Arriving on their motorbikes, rockers would meet up at this café and others to mend their bikes, play rock-n-roll music on the jukeboxes and socialise. Record racing was one thrill at the Ace Café. Bikers would put on a record from the jukebox and race each other to a chosen place and back before the record ended.
