Victoria bus station

£25.00
Victoria Bus Station. In the years before many owned cars, bus stations played a significant role in transport throughout the capital. This is Victoria Bus Station, on the forecourt outside Victoria Railway Station, in 1939. With the outbreak of the Second World War, bus services were restricted or withdrawn altogether to save fuel. Ticket prices also rose. Within four months, 800 central buses stood redundant.
